Med Vet?

Does anyone have any experience with Med Vet, in Columbus Ohio? I went to my vet today and he recommended that we see them if I wanted my boy evaluated for an elongated soft palete.

Yes, many years ago,

my regular vet sent us there with our bulldog, Daisy. She was around one year old and the doctor checked her and did the surgery. It really improved the quality of her life. She just passed away six months ago from cancer. She was a little over one, I believe when she had the surgery. She lived to be just six weeks short of twelve.
Med vet also did knee surgery on Dozer, in 2000. Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

I am in WV

We live in Wv and really like our vet, but he doesn't have a laser. He recommended Med Vet to us at our last visit. I just wondered if they are extremely expensive and for how long they would want to keep our boy for observation?

We are coming to the Columbus show next week and were hoping to coordinate a visit to the vet while there.

We are in Columbus...

We haven't used MedVet for Ajax, but we've heard good things about them. Which vet do you use? We go to Beechwold Veterinary Hospital and they have a lot of experience with bulldogs. They also have a great surgery program. If you are not already using them, it may be worth looking into going there for the soft palate issue.

Hmm.... I'm not sure...

how long they would need to keep him. Best of luck!
