loose joints

I have a bulldog puppy that is 10 weeks old and the vet says he has a "loose carpal joint". Is this common? She goes on to say "will probably strengthen with time" Foot looks crooked at ankle but doesn't appear sore. He is from a litter of 4 and crooked foot showed up first at six weeks then seemed to go away only to come back again. It it from rapid growth? I am afraid to sell him to someone if he may become lame as he gets heavier. Any suggestions appreciated.

ditto

also make sure he has access to natural sunlight and exercise on grass or gravel. Just normal playtime, not walks.

Sometimes a soft splint that offers a little support but still lets the joint flex helps but in general it will self correct

It is possible that the protein in puppy food is causing too muc

food to regular food. Also start Glucosamine/condroitin with msm 1 a day. Ester c vitamin once a day may help also.

I am a first and probably last time breeder.

I have learned two VERY important things in this experience.
#1 Breeding bulldogs is NOT for sissys sad.gif
#2 Being able to talk with experts re: the breed is as easy as joining this site.
Thanks for your help, I feel so much better already!!!
