Leg Injury

I have a 16 week old male Bully(Champ),he was outside with 4 others Bullys from (11 weeks) my litter. My son went out back to get one of my boys from my litter(Zeus) and I hear crying out back.It continues for about 20 seconds so I go outside and see Champ on his stomach, unable to put pressure on his right leg.I picked him up gave him to my wife to hold and my son says that he was playing with my 2.5 year old male and all of a sudden started crying. He has no marks but is unable to put pressure on it without falling. If he doesnt feel better in the morning off to the vet it is.Kinda curious what it could be........wish us luck!

Re: Agree that its most likely muscular

Thanks for your responses.Champ is moving better.Still wont put much pressure on his paw but moving better.

Agree that its most likely muscular

strain or sprain but to be sure that there's nothing "out of socket" I'd have the vet look at it. Crate rest and no romping for a couple weeks, just out to potty, limit stairs and lifting, etc. if its a sprain.

could be many things

but most likely a strain. Keep him crated today, rest is crutial. You can ice the area to reduce the chance of increased inflamation.
