Joker paw problem

Can someone help me with this problem... I think it's Interdigital Cysts, but I'm not sure.... I just switched food's about 2 weeks ago when I noticed it.... I've been changed from Purina Puppy Chow to Taste of the Wild...

Yep looks like what dozer had.

What ever you do watch it and don't let him chew on it. Dozer's wa son his back leg and he chewed on it while i was at work and it got infected. He's been on k-flex for 2 weeks now and wearing an e-collar to keep him from chewing and its almost totally gone now.

This looks to me to be a histiocytoma

If oyu look on the second page of this medical forum, you will see a post from Jessie Ann about Dozer.  Looks like the same thing to me.  Some have used keflex.  Some have used cortisone cream.  Check out the post.

Agree...looks very much like a histocytoma.

If you do a quick search on the internet for 'canine histocytoma' you will see that many times its just treated topically and observed...if its not bleeding or causing daily interference for the dog (such as near the eye or mouth) most sites recommend just waiting for it to pass. With our breed and our caution regarding putting any bulldog under anesthesia, you would do well to consider this course of action. happy.gif
