Itchy eyes ... Benedryl?
Submitted by izzyandabbysmom on April 21, 2010 - 12:12amAbby keeps rubbing her right eye it seems to be itchy its not red its not goopy its not swollen doesnt seem to be dry.. thinking maybe allergy itchyness. She is 8 months old and weighs approx 40 pounds Should I try some benedryl? and Do you guys give liquid or capsules or chewable? We have had no probs in the past just dont want her to scratch her eye pawing at it or cause any other problems.

She ended up going to sleep and it didnt seem to bother her anymore at all and she has been fine today so who knows you know always have to worry about them~!

You can try the benadryl
And see if it will help. If the benadryl does not help, I would have a Vet check the eyes and make sure there is not a problem with the lashes. I use the pills or capsules.
