I feel bad doing this whole crate rest thing....

We had to start over with the rest, because when she was baby-sat a few weekends ago, she was being wild, getting to and from our house. I ordered hyla-sport and will try that for a month- and we are on strict crate rest now. Even after she pottys she goes to run! I really want her knee to heal without surgery!!

Oh but it breaks my heart... boo hoo

crate rest really helps

Jackson runs alot too, and he pulled something in his shoulder, was really limping and favoring the shoulder, crated him for two weeks, just out on leash to go potty, and if I was sitting on the couch, I held him, and he did fine.  He wasn't thirlled iwth it, but I gave him treats, Ice cubes, frozen tgreen beans and of course a new chew toy.

For crate rest I got an x-pen

and it up attached to a kennel we have in the living room.  This way he's got a little more space than just a kennel, but yet he's controlled & still with us in the living room.  Although sometimes just a kennel is needed.  Good luck!
