Logic tells me that if the new med kills more parasites it must have more chemicals in it. I'd rather space out the chemicals I give my dogs in case they have any sensitivity to the ingredients.

They sell it to anyone who wants to buy it. Revolution is the same, anyone can buy it, no RX needed, even if your dogs haven't been on heart worm preventative.

Also, this new Advantage, you can use it even if your dog has heart worms. It is a mild dose of what ever active ingredient they use for heart worm cases, so they don't say NOT to use it on a dog with heart worm. Now, this is all information I received from the vet in my area that did my mares stitches for me when my regular vet was not available.

didn't keep fleas off for more than 4 days. I went back to Advantage this time, and they have been flea free since I put it on. I think I am going to try their new stuff, I really like Advantage....
