Hi any good recommendations for homemade food to feed a sick puppy? Her stools are very loose and she wont eat her regular food. I am just doing whole brown rice and chicken.

We took her to the vet for the grapes and it was the reason she was sick. A diet of rice, chicken, pedilite and pumpkin did wonders. Fortunately she recovered rather quickly :)Thanks for all your input.

There are intestinal pests that often cause diarrhea and just normal worming meds won't take care of...pup needs vet exam with stools checked for things like giardia, etc....then put on the bland rice/lean ground meat diet for few days to firm up stools along with proper antibiotics should this be the problem.
If internal pests aren't treated, the dog just 'wears down' and the immune system becomes overly stressed, leading to other health issues a few more months down the road.
Also, don't have any vaccinations given until this diarrhea clears up...again its a matter of a youngster having too much to deal with at one time.

isn't this the pup who ate the grapes?
definitely a vet check immediately. They dehydrate quickly.

Yes...vet check required
