in hot water, let the kibbles swell up and then divide it into 3-4 feedings. I soak overnight. I just feel that by soaking the food, it just helps the puppy to digest easily and not feel hungry. And it keeps them from drinking a lot of water and then vomitting. I sometimes add a few dry kibbles in the soaked food for the puppy too.
