My vet wants to put charlie on this..ue to his loose stools
I give him the natures balance sweet potatoe and venison

I use canned Hills Prescription i/d for a few days..
along with 5 days of Metronidazole. That always clears up the irritable bowels for my gang.

cut back on his food, you might be loving him to much and over feeding him.
Soft stools are not a bad thing, just a pain to pick up. Many of the better foods are not full of fillers to make rock turds

Where ever hulls are used in feeds, they are just fillers.
I would worry a LOT about them being the 5th and 6th ingredient in this product.

The third ingredient is corn and the fifth ingredient is rice hulls. Why would you put rice hulls in dog food? Way too many fillers in this food.
By the way, what food is this?
