Deuce won't eat the gel cap....
He just picks the gel cap out of his food and carries it around. I had a fear of him eating it and squirting it onto the carpet so that is when we decided to poke holes in it.

gel caps can be given without a problem
my dogs eat them right up no problems. I use Costco brand and bullies get 2 a day, my little Frenchie/Chin Itty gets one. She feels cheated but she weighs half what they do :D
I have been using them for several months and have to say it puts a real shine on the coats!

I just buy the human fish oil pills....
found in the vitamin area of any drug store/Target, etc. I just take a safety pin and poke a hole in it and squirt it on the food. We give them 1 a day. But BEWARE, this stuff STINKS like no other. The first time I smelled it I gagged.

i use....
good old fresh salmon from the fish department has all the omegs you dog will ever need....a great source of protein and dogs love it.....
