Female in Heat.. New Carpets

I know. I should've went with the laminate flooring.. Now I know better..

There's some red spots on the carpet, that a few came up, but of course when it's all over. I'm going to need to use a friends steam cleaner or something..

Any suggestions? Should I get some big pampers and try them on her?? Just to help with it.. I have one of those harness for the pad, but it's too small on my big female that's in heat.

About solutions to use that work best..

Curious about what people are using to clean.. Vinegar? Ammonia? Special carpet cleaner.. ??

hydogen peroxide

will bubble up the blood spots. The you can dab them with a tissue/paper towel.

Test a spot first in an area that does'nt really matter to see if it bleaches your carpet.

peroxide

makes me way too nervous these carpets are a graphite coloring.. LOL

the blood doesnt show that bad but its noticable when you look for it. I guess a steam cleaner with some oxy clean and maybe some vinegar would help.. Something that wont possib bleach them in any way.

Try Nature's Miracle

I've had a pair for about 4 years. They stay on pretty well and are very durable.

You just use a ladies sanitary napkin in it.

steam

I would hesitate to use the steam, as I believe heat sets the stain of blood. Use cold water rubbing gently with a washcloth perhaps with a little mild soap. I have used Nature's Miracle without noticing bleaching on rugs in the past, but not of that color so also suggest testing it on a hidden area first. Good luck!
