I have been feeding regular Eukanuba his entire life. Now 10 1/2 months old. He is having a problem with crusty scabby ear pinna tips, just on the inside.
We went to the vet and got antibiotic and temaril pills. Next they gave us a benzy peroxide topical for the ear.
The crust ear pinnas have been reduced greatly by the temaril pills, but i know prednisone is what is helping the most. So i leads me to think allergies.
Is Eukanuba Wild a good choice to try? Where would i find some of the other brands listed on this site.
I only have Petsmart stores around me.
Thanks
I feed Eukanuba Naturally Wild North Atlantic Salmon and Brewer'
My vet did the research since the prescription brand for allergies almost doubled in price last January. Eukanuba Naturally Wild has only a single source of protein. No meat by-products or corn. My guy is doing well on it and I like the cheaper price. My vet stocks it for us dog owners who need to feed a single source protein. Check out Eukanuba.com. Bet you could find it on google to check if it is available in your area.

We feed Taste of the Wild Pacific stream...
which is salmon and sweet potato. Grains are what cause some skin problems and TOTW is grain free. Do you have a feed store or pet depot anywhere near you? You can googld TOTW and see if anyone in your area sells it. Otherwise, look for a grain free food. I don't think Petsmart carries Natural Balance, but they have some grain free also.
