entropion stitch poking eye

wouldn't you know I would discover a stitch poking right into the eye of my little foster guy. He had entropion surgery on Weds. His eyes were cloudy before, so I just thought the one eye was healing slower until I looked at it tonight and could see an ulcer and pretty significant clouding. No vets open tomorrow. Not sure how urgent this is.  I tried to clip the stitch, but he won't be still. Poor little guy.

I would probably take him in it could do some real damage.  I am sure you know not to use anything with dex in it.  f yo have the neo poly bac ointment put that in until you can get him to the er.  I wouldn't wait until tomorrow.

got it out myself this morning...

If he had been crying or pawing at it, I would have taken him to an emergency vet.But since it didn't really seem to bother him, I decided to wait until I could get into a regular vet that is open here on Sundays. We're not a welthy rescue, so emergency is a very last resort for us. I got up this morning and decided to give it one more try. I sat with him and petted him to calm him. I used tweezers and pulled the stitch. It bled a little, but it is no longer poking his eye! Using BNP until I can call the vet tomorrow to see if I should use also be using Atropine drops.
