Dry Hacking Cough
Submitted by admin on April 20, 2010 - 5:51pmBrutus has had a dry hacking cough for almost a week now. At first he also had a snotty sounding nose. THat is gone now but the hacking cough remains. He threw up a couple of times 3 days ago while hacking. He also had really runny poo for 1 day and was acting down in the dumps. (no pun intended)
I am happy to say that his spirits are back and feeling all well but still has the cough.
Any suggestions? Should he go to the doc?

actually today i began thinking it may be kennel cough. do they pick that up from other dogs?

he could have picked up kennel cough? If it's gone on and persisting, I 'd take him to the vet and get an antibiotic.
