That sucks I sent you a couple articles

I received here from Elaine and Melanie. I would have it looked at but unless he is having problems peeing or it is bleeding more than a little i would leave it alone. I just went through it with Stanley and spoke with alot of soft tissue surgeons at Tufts. Elaine also went through it with Junior and has done quite a bit of research. i had Stans doen with the tacking procedure and it came back within two weeks. He then had it snipped and it has not come back but i wish I would have left it. The only concern the surgeons said with leaving it was the prolapse tissue could die but that is more common in rectal prolapse.

thank you so much

I have only had one bully male before and he was more girly than my girls ever were. Now with this pup i am sensing I have my hands full! LOL! This will be my first male show prospect and first intact male i have ever had. all males have always been neutered in our home, bulldog or not.

I will have the vet check it out later down the line. For now it looks ok, swelling down and no more blood. So maybe when we go back for rabies between 6-12 months we will discus it or i will ask him when i am there next week with the rescues.

thanks again for the info

well crap this is exactly what is looks like!

I was hoping he just played too rough with one of the rescues. The tip looked just liie that and there was slight bloody drainage. I wet it, and thn gave him a Rimadyl hoping to help with inflammation. Crated him and woke up this am to find it back in its pocket. Guess next vet visit we will have it checked out..
what a bummer poor little guy is only 17 weeks now.

Usually it just kind of appears suddenly..

It was not a gradual thing that happened. One minute Jr's peep looked normal and then it had a little red bulb on the end. It was as if the tip of the penis rolled inside out about 1/8 of an inch.

Rhiann,
I dont have a picture, but the tip is very red and looks like a donut on the tip of the penis.
