he has been eating rice/ground beef also been giving him pumkin. temp is 100.4 and giving him pedialite unflavor no vomiting just diarrhea at times stool will have a form. gums are slightly pale. I know i need to take him to the vet. but my week is so busy. he has been sleeping well have a great appetite. dont know I feel guilty but i want to take him to the vet on saturday morning. its been 24 hrs. with this issue how long should i wait. or should i just get him in asap. he seems fine.

they can get dehydrated in less then 24hours

and it can turn critical and fatal in 72hrs.

the dog could have an infection that needs abx and if not treated can turn fatal.

or the dog has a blockage and will turn fatal if not treated.

go to the vet

Agreed...My rule of thumb is

if you ever have to ask whether or not an animal needs to see a vet asap, then you should probably go ahead and get things checked out.
