Boss' penis bleeding

I thought that he had brushed up against a nail or something when we were rebuilding my deck. I noticed the blood drops on my floor. When i found him in our bedroom, i flipped him over to check him and it appeared that he may have gotten scratched. My mom helped me clean him good and put some neosporin on the area. This was Tuesday. Then this morning he was exposed and i saw that he had a bloody spot on the shaft, not the outside part or near/on the tip. I touched to see if it was blood and in fact it was. It doesn't seem to hurt him or affect him going to the bathroom.

Do you think he'll be alright, or should i get him to the vet...or watch it for a couple more days?

Bleeding penis

Our male also started bleeding many years ago. He had a prolasped urthera. He would bleed anytime a female was in heat in the neighborhood. I dealt with the bleeding that would last for about 2 weeks out of the year until we had our daughter. We decided to get him the surgery were them take off about an inch of the penis and reform it. He was bleed free for 1 year until we had got another bulldog. Lucy is a female and when she went into season, he started to bleed again. So there is really not much you can do. We spent 1200.00 on the surgery hoping that would be the end, but it wasn't. So not only do we have one female we have another that bleeds too. He is a wonderful dog and we love him very much and just deal with it. I purchased a male diaper and line it with maxipad and change it a few times a day when he has his issue. I hope this can help you with your problem. If you decide to do the surgery make sure you use a dr. that specializes in bulldogs. Some of them out there are just out to make a quick dollar.

it doesn't appear to be anything serious

i'm thinking he got scratched while outside in the yard...we were working on the deck...i checked him this weekend, pulled the skin back a bit and looked...it looks healed up pretty good...i'll keep an eye on it

Go to vet first...

Cartman had some blood in his urine, so I rushed him to the vet thinking that perhaps there were some stones since I could not identify where the bleeding was coming from. It turned out that there was some slight bleeding actually on the shaft and it was caused from the start of a prolapse.
