Giardia sheds in cycles, Pups can pick it up and not show symptoms for some time. This is often why repeat stool samples should be done. I had a rescue pup who had this issues. not sure how long your baby was treated, but hopefully long enough and is not recontaminated.

I have eight dogs.  They all eat California Natural, Herring and sweet potato.  I have two 7 month old puppies that I had on California Natural puppy foor, which is chicken and rice.  They had loose stools the whole time.  I finally read the article that someone on the board wrote the other day, which referred to not feeding puppy food because of the bone growth, etc.  I had already started getting them on the adult california natural and their stoolos are great now, less and firm.  Try that.  Blue Buffalo didn't work for me either, I have tried many, many, foods including the raw diet, which my vet had fits with.

well... i thought about it... hes getting his booster shots tomorrow and i will ask them to do another giardia test !

his poop actually smells just like the food he eats + some stink lol.... ist not slimy... more watery...it shoots out of his little but like a fountain (sorry for the graphic picture lol) ; but i feel like since he is eating the bull formula he is pooping less.... still not solid...but not as watery and it completely smells like his food !

you can only hope LOL-some of these guys it is a constant battle. I buy 4 different types of dog food for my guys......it's a juggling act making sure no one runs out(I can't get it all at the same store).
I hope it's the end of your food journey also....good luck with your baby!!

I fed RC Bully 24 for a long time, but got a puppy that needed something different, so I switched to Natural Balance. Fits well for both my girls right now. May go try Bully 24 again someday now that the pup is older and her tummy is better.

thanks .. that is exactly the positive responds i was looking for.... he is my first bulldog and first dog in general... so like any first time mommy im probably overreacting and im over concerned .. but i guess everyone goes through that lol

I love that food, it is great food, but I don't feed it because of the amount of poop they produce with it!!

I seldom feed any puppy food at all, even to puppies! I always just put them on adult dog food. RC Bulldog 24 is good food, your pup should do fine on it.

thanks for the advise.... ill def keep that in mind.... i just bough the rc bulldog yesterday because a lot of people where raging about how fantastic it is and how it stops diarrhea and gas lol


today is the first day of the food and he is munching on his dinner now ... hopefully itwill work .. if not i will def try your food !

i don't use can food, always cause diarrhea, but I do soak the orijen kibbles to help with the digestion and his puppy teeth.

he never had wet food before ... only kibble... i wonder if tha would make his diarrhea worse ?

I don't like royal canine, lots of allergy problems and very fattening. Mine before had been on Taste of the wild pacific stream, firm poop, but they didn't really like it. I just found out about Orijen chicken+turkey+fish, they don't care much for the salmon kind. They all love this and no allergies or even vomitting. I also feed grand-dad's chicken blend roll that I cook and mix some in with their kibbles, I don't do raw and the picky eater is gaining weight and the fur is soft and shiny, poop is firm too which is a plus. All my puppies eat adult food and this food is for all stages.

food changes take a few weeks but given his history, the above is possible as well. Kiddie pools, old fecal matter he may be eating, etc..
