Hi
Isabella is a 2 yr old heathly girl up until about a month ago... Long story short, It started with what they thought was a bowel infection... She had a some blood and mucus in her stool. After 2 rounds of Flagyl and rice and chop meat there was no change. They then thought it might be Colitis and changed her food to Science Diet Light still a 1/2 a dimes worth of blood in stool...
Now I made an appt for this Sat. with Dr Kinear in Staten Island. Has anyone used him? Any thoughts? I've spoke to him through out this and he is thinking it could be a Polyp, although he hasn't examined her yet...
Her stool is firm and a normal color. Her appetite is fine, she's running and playing endlessly as usual... Has anyone experienced this? Has anyone had a colonoscopy done on there dog? What is the procedure? Any information you could share would be appreciated...
Thanks and looking forward to hearing!
