bee sting

oscar just noticed bees outside on our azaleas. he didn't get stung, but I just wanted to know, what is best to do & use if he gets stung? I do keep a watchful eye on him outside, but wanted some advice just in case

Thanks

Benadryl and steroids

And at the first sign of difficulty breathing or a swollen tongue a trip to the ER vet. I lost a dig to a bee sting and I am overly cautious. My Vet gives me steroids to keep on hand just in case.

Benadryl!

My Audrey got sting (we are pretty sure-long story and no way to be 100% positive) but she went from happy playful puppy to near critical condition in about 30 minutes. I got her to the er vet and she was a breath away from being critical.

Now I keep benadryl dissolving strips with me always, that way I don't have to worry about her being able to swallow a pill with a swollen throat. She HATES them, but at least she can't spit them out or choke on them.
