Bart's pads are pink & discoloring -look swollen- Need advice
Submitted by andyluvsbartthe... on June 2, 2010 - 6:14amHello, I need some help from experienced Bulldoggers regarding Bart's pads. His pads are discoloring and are turning pink in some spots. They seem to be swollen. As a result, he can't walk over cement, asphalt or rocky surfaces. He can only walk over grass. His pads get very swollen and he continually licks them as a result. I need some help. I took him to the vet once before regarding this issue and they prescribed Atarax. Please shed some light. , it just kills me to see him in pain.
sounds like he is allergic to something....
My Cain had that problem when he came to us (he is a rescue) and we changed his food and gave him allergy meds (Zytrec regular) and his feet are not so swollen anymore nor does he chew on them.
