When your bulldog comes in heat how do you manage the blood? Zoey is in her first heat and it is very messy. I tryed one of those diapers from the pet store but the tail hole is so darn big she bleed right out the hole. Right now I have her in a one piece bathing suit using thin kotex. It works ok but there's got to be a easier way.. Here's a picture. Isn't she cute!
Tails
If I were you I would try to find one without a tail hole. Most Bulldog tails are flat. The tail hole on these diapers are so big, They are more geared towards a big fluffy tail not a little flat tail.

Stupid question...what if your bully HAS a tail??
Should I still get the ones w/o a tail for Vivi? I'm thinking yes, but wasn't sure?? Compared to some bullies she as a pretty long tail. I saw some at a store that had a hole for a tail & I'm thinking that her tail would still be too small for the hole...it's like made for a golden or something!! LOL

Aunt Flo
I used little girl undies with a pad in them. Also I saw somewhere online where they used pull-ups with little kid suspenders. It looked like it would work well..

If those don't fit around the waist (which is what I found)
I just revert to good ol baby diapers:-) I would hold them up with a harness for the time needed....and I use them 24/7 of course with Isabella.

Use the female panties you have with the tail hole,
And put the pad inside covering the tail hole.

I still recommend panties with no tail hole
My Tori's tail is just a little shorter than Vivi's and I use the "no tail" panties on her. The panties with the tail hole are really designed for dogs with longer tails that wag them all the time, which also helps keep the panties from slipping down. Even Bulldogs with longer tails don't tend to hold their tails up enough to help keep their pants on.
