Apple Cider Vinegar in water?
Submitted by admin on September 26, 2006 - 7:00pmI was wondering if anyone puts apple cider vinegar or lemon juice in
their bulldog's water routinely. I know how lemon juice can be used
to help with phlegm when a bulldog gets overheated but is it adviseable
to add vinegar or lemon juice to their water as a preventive measure?
One breeder I spoke to said that the vinegar helps prevent urinary infections.

I use vinegar..but for different reasons
Our water is really hard here and using the filtered water from the fridge takes forever...so when i use tap water I put a small amount of vinegar in the water bowl to change the PH...it has helped eliminate tear stains on both my dogs...we are tear stain free!
I add about 1 tablespoon..give or take LOL
to my metal bowls..which are old mixing bowls that you would mix cake mix in....
