They are found with all the other treats and come in Venison & Sweet Potato, Duck & Potato, and Fish & Sweet Potato. They are all grain free. Natural Balance can be found at PetCo, not Petsmart.

Ajax seems to like it and my obedience instructor recommended it. We cut it up into small pieces for the obedience class. We also used the Zukes training treats (Salmon and Chicken flavors) and diced string cheese. We are done with class now, so we sometimes put little pieces of the log in his kong to give him something fun to do. Once we're done with this log, I will hold off on purchasing another one until I find the grain free variety. I don't want to give him something that could cause problems!

They make it seem like it is when they put lamb or beef in HUGE letters but I was at a pet-expo and asked the NB rep if they were grain free and he said no and they were working on one that was. Well I was at PetCo the other day and I saw they had the Duck and Potato log and that is the grain free one. See, they try to trick us!!

I haven't tried them though, do yours like them? Do you use them as treats?

I will have to keep an eye out for the grain free one. We are using the lamb log now, but I didn't look at the ingredients as closely as I should have. Thanks for letting us know!

They are coming out with one log that will be grain free, the duck and potato log will be grain free but all the others have grains in them.
