Well She doesnt seem to be too itchy or at least as bad as she was a few days ago. The meds are making her very thirsty and her appetite is a little larger than normal. Shes been on the meds since last thursday.
But, the hair situation is out of control! If you pet her back then look at your hand you would think you had super glue on your fingers. And just the slightest pinch results in this...
We are going in the next couple days to get a second opinion. I just want to catch this before it gets worse. Unless im just freakin out and I need to give it a couple more days? I dunno?
Re: Another Bella update...
The pred will make your dog more thirsty and increase the appetite. Make sure she has as much water as she wants to drink. Once you are off the pred. that side effect will decrease.
This is the time of year where shedding is at its worst. My dog is also shedding a lot. In my experience, some shed more then others, and white tends to be a little worse. The baths should help and also if you are not doing so already, I would try to brush your dog daily to get rid of all the loose hair.
It is good that you are going for a second opinion. Once you see what the second Dr. has to say you can go from there. Good luck to you.

If the chewable pills you were given do not smell like fish then
needs the fish oil for her coat/hair as all the shedding IMHO means she needs supplements as those I stated below help immensely with shedding.

The increase in food and water intake is definitely from
the prednisone (steroids) she is on, which was given both to relieve some itching and swelling. Its okay to use for a short period (few weeks) but certainly not long-term unless for something like lymphoma (cancer). This steroid use should not add or take away from the shedding, tho.
