6 month bulldog limp

I have a 6 month old female english bulldog and she over the past couple of days has been limping, and I could not tell at first which leg it was. I think it is the rear right leg and so I kind of moved back and forth and I heard it make like a poping sound. I am deeply worried about this issue and I have a vet appointment set. She walks with a limp, but when I take her outside she kinda still will hop and run some. I am trying to keep her rested and doing as little activity as possible. Any possible ideas of what her injury could be would surely help thanks.

She's at the right age for Panosteosis

Which is basically growing pains. You need xrays from a good bulldog vet to diagnose the problem. I am battling this with my puppy as well and it's very frustrating. Feel free to email me if you want and I will let you know what I have tried. But, with Pano, the dog will out grow it by 18-24 months.

Could be growing pains. Is the pup still on puppy food?

well, my boy had it repaired at 13 weeks

believe it or not. He had bilateral cherry eye from 8 weeks and one was large and bleeding because it rubbed on things. Neutered at 6 months. He has had 3 more surgeries and is the poster boy for a bulldog being put under successfully.
I think each case is different.

could be

luxating patella which may be where the poping sounds are coming from. Depending on the grade of luxation will depend on the outcome. Often puppies have grade 1-2 luxation but then grow out of it by the time they are two and are rechecked. I had a pup who had luxating patella at 12 weeks. Rechecked at a year old and no more problems.

Continue with the rest and limited activity.
Vet may prescibe an NSAID like Rimadyl of Deramaxx to help with inflammation.
