i was wondering at what age my babys can go all throught the night without eating. I am talking like 11pm to 6 am. i feed them at 11pm and top them off with a bottle and then i usually feed them again at 3am and then again at 7am. Just wondering at what age they can start skipping this 3 am feeding. they are usually still sleeping when i go to feed them at 3am.
NOW, when they double the birth wt
at about 3 weeks you get some sleep.
I feed at 1045 so done about 11 and feed again about 6 630 or when momma or the babies start yelling

thank you
thanks i was kinda scared about going that long with out feeding them, they were from 6 to 8 ounces at birth and now they are from 1 pound 5 ounces to over 1 pound and 9 ounces. they are fat and seem to be eating well . thanks i feel better about spacing out thier feedings.
just the night feeding can be spaced out that long
all the others need to be every 4 hours.
I feed at 7am, 12pm, 4pm 8pm 11pm, i start the clock after they are done eating

till what age
till what age do I do this, At what age do I introduce mush and then solid food?
mush at 3 weeks
goats milke or milk replacer and gerber rice cereal milk shake thickness. for a few days, then i add baby meat like lamb, chicken or beef.... mix for a few days. after a week of the above, then i start soaking dog food in the milk replacer and mushing it up. still about the same as a milk shake getting thicker until the kibble can be chewed about 4 to 5 weeks. After each feeding i put a dish of kibble to soak in milk, its ready for the next feeding. at 5 weeks mix 1/2 milk replacer and 1/2 water when soaking the food. over the week cut back on milk. by 7 weeks they should be able to eat hard food.
They need to keep eating 4 times a day until 8 weeks, then can go to 3 times a day until 6 months then twice a day at 1yr
