2 week old pups pooping question

i just had a litter of 7 pups. totally different from my last 2. they are sleepers. do not want to be bothered by details such as eating. My concers came about 4 days ago when the pooping stopped. this is their 3rd week by the way. they have all gained considerable wieight. average about 2 lbs. so the pooping stopped and then yesterday morning feeding, someone turned the pooping switch on. really runny. really stinky!
what do you recommend. i have a vet appointmemt set for this pm. Im always hesitant about even taking the pups out of their bed let alone the VET.

shoudl i be concerned. they are all eating very good. some gas on some.

note.. i did change mommas food. back to puppy food. nutro maxx. could this be affecting the puppies poop.

thanks

Maybe a stool sample

I would personally take a stool sample in, especially if the vet is close, just to be sure everything is ok.

YES, changing mom's diet can change the milk

and if its only soft poops and some gas you may want to give her 24hrs to settle back into her previous diet and see how the youngsters are doing...I'm presuming they are still eating okay, just having soft stinky poops.

Some breeders may have other suggestions so I hope you'll get more responses. happy.gif
