Do they still need a heating pad at 2 weeks old. Tey have been really fussy the last two days so I think they have been warm. I had the pad on low so I took it out today. I keep the room at 80 degrees so if I keep it that way do I need the pad.

I just had the same problem at one week old. Once the pups get their fur, they don't need the heating pad. I found they sleep better without it, and you won't find them panting.

Imoved them to a bigger container and putthe pad in the corner. They are much happier now. In the other container when I would lift the towel you could fill the heat come out. They were able to get off of it but I think it was still close to them that they could fill the heat
pups panting
