Sherman sometimes has a click from joint somewhere

It's sounds like when ur ankle has a little crack type of thing. He doesn't show a sign of pain but I purpose make him come to me and it sounds like its coming from his front ankle or something. Anybody have experience with this? It's like a little subtle click sound.

My Molley has the same thing.

My Molley has the same thing. It happens only when I play with her. I hear it around her hip area. I don't know if this will effect her as she gets older. My vet told me it's nothing to be concern about. But if I see it starting to hurt her, I should bring her back in and check it. He says for now It's like popping one knuckles.

Hmm

Yea I was kind of wondering if he is just growing and maybe it is because of that somehow. Last time I wrote about his size about 2 weeks ago he was 27 lbs. today he just became 5 months and he is 32-33 lbs so be is growing fairly quick it seems like. Idunno.

Clicking & Puppies

I wouldn't be too concerned with that as a puppy. His joints are not totally closed, he is still growing. You might want to consider a supplement like Sure Grow when he is around 6 months. Some light exercise, but keep the jumping on and off couches and steps to a minimum (if any).

It you are hearing a clicking sound on an adult that can be a cause for concern. If it's in a knee it can be a sign of a ruptured meniscus.

Ok

Is that like glucosamine or something similar? It's a very slight sound I actually thought because his nails needed clipped maybe they were snagging the carpet and that's what I was hearing but it wasn't that. I hope it's nothing serious. Poor guy has had enough crap already.

Now this is making me worry

Now this is making me worry about my Molley because Molley is almost 4 and the clicking sound started late into her 3rd year. I'll hear the clicking once in a while, like when we play. Other than that I don't hear it at all even when she's just walking, running or jumping. Should I be really concerned? now that she is almost 4yrs old. I took Molley to the vet some time in January when the vet had told me not to worry to much about the clicking. By the way Happy Birth Day Sherman.  You are so cute man.

Different

I wouldn't probably worry about hers since.

1) It is not constant.
2) Vet is not concerned.

But I would have her on a joint supplement.

From experience, if it is the meniscus it is constant. When walking, you will hear it every stride.

Ok. Thanks... DebMolley and
