Puppy doesn't appear to know he's using the bathroom

We have a 10week old English Bulldog puppy. We have researched and talked with our vet about potty training tips. We take him out every 30min-1hr. and have him on an eating schedule. Sometimes he will pee outside and occasionally poop. But he does not get into the typical "position" dogs typically do when they use the bathroom. He will just keep doing what ever he is doing, playing,  running, walking, rolling around in the grass, etc. He will pee and poop in his bed when he is sleeping. He will be laying on the couch awake and do both of these. It is worries me that there is something wrong with him, I made the mistake of googling! Have any other bulldog families experienced this? He goes to the vet April 4th for his booster shots and I plan on futher discussing this with him, but wanted to see if anyone had any input, suggestions, etc! Thanks!!

I have had puppies in the past and...

they pretty much would squat or stop when they were peeing.  Definitely discuss it with your vet, there are many possibilities of what it could be.  Have you talked to the breeder about it?  Hope all turns out well, hope others on here have some advice.  Let us know what happens.

Yes, they suggeseted taking

Yes, they suggeseted taking him out more and make sure he is on a good schedule. I am going to see what the vet tells me and depending on that I will talk to the breeder again. From what I can tell there is no genetic history of anything that could cause this.

You will need to research canine Spina Bifida.

That is what it sounds like. I had a SB pup. Talk to your vet.
