Hello, I am in CT and this is my first post to the forum. I have been a Bulldog owner for almost thirty years. I have had three of these great dogs over the thirty year time span.

Three weeks ago, we had to say goodbye to our Big Man, Xavier, who was the absolute best Bulldog! He was a dedicated family member, great neighbor and friend to all. After being with us nearly twelve years, Xavier experienced a heart disorder and we had to say goodbye rather than seeing him suffer.

I am enjoying reading about all of your Bulldogs and seeing all of you are dedicated to this great breed of dog!

Rest in peace Big Man!

Sad

My deepest sympathies to you. I know your pain. We had to have a wonderful bully, Bubba, put down this past Thursday. He had cancer and was 9 years old. It really hurts but I believe proves our love of our four footed family members. Perhaps you can try what we've been doing..trying to find comfort in knowing our Bubba is breathing well, running and playing with the other bullies at the Bridge.

Many Thanks

Words cannot express the level of thanks from everyone on the forum who supplied input on how to cope with the loss of our friend. Thank you all.

This is the best place to be..............

We have all been there (well, most of us) and know what it is like to lose our bully babies.  I lost my first bulldog, Otie, last July and it was heartbreaking.  This place helped me tremendously.  The support was overwhelming.  I am so sorry for your loss, and am saying prayers for comfort to your heart.
