Looking at PUPPY piks.....OMG! and a question---(*piks*)

notice the WHITE LINE on Sophies' cute ear----so cute and distinctive, but it eventually disappeared.....have any of your
fur babies had this? Just curous! :-)

Fatboy had a white infinity symbol on the top of his head when
he was a wee pup. Now it is all gone. It's slightly noticeable when we brush his hair, but not as prominent as it used to be. They just grow out of their looks :)
Fatboy has all black nails, except for one of his front paws. The one paw has pure white nails. Just recently, one of those white nails started to get a black streak down the entire nail. It looks like someone polished his nail with black nail polish lol

white nails turning black
Mr. Higgins was born with all white nails. He is 8 now and a couple of years ago some started getting black streaks on them. They turned totally black in time. Now he has mostly all black nails. I had never heard of this happening before. He is mostly brindle.
Common .... Pigmentation
typically gets darker and more of it as they age. Most puppies are born with pink, noses, pink face, pink toes, pink around the eyes.....then the pigmentation starts when they are a few days old. It is very nromal for more and more pigmentation as they get older. This is a good thing. Dark pigmentation is important or we would have albino's.
