Bubba was my sweet heart. This Saturday it will be two months since I had to do this. It's been really hard. Loulou has not ntaken well to him not being here. Just started walking her the other way because she refused to walk the path they use to walk. Thank you.

Oh my goodness.....that just breaks my heart
about LouLou not wanting to take that path anymore!!! They are SO sensitive, aren't they? I'm sending
you and LouLou more ((( hugs )))!! Last July, I'm sure I posted here about our 12-year-old, SWEET foster guy
Murphy, who died suddenly after he'd only been with us for nine days. The part I DONT remember is if I
posted that our other foster, Daphne, seemed to go through a brief period of grieving. It was SO, SO sad!
I totally understand why Meaty and Sophie did NOT show signs of grief, because----welllll, they aren't
thrilled about having "GUESTS" in **THEIR*** house, of course! :-)
...
...But I believe (and I could be wrong!)---that sweet Murphy and Daphne bonded in the VERY short time they knew eachother
(nine days!) because they both had been abandoned, they both had been through many foster homes, they both felt
unwelcome by Sophie (she was really mean to both of them, but Meaty wasn't, thank Goodness!), and they were both so HAPPY to be in a new home
where they had no doubt their new hoomans loved them! :-) My hubby buried Murphy in our yard, and he has a nice wittle grave marker.....anyway, Daphne would go out and lie by his grave, walk around it, then lie down again. She also Looked SO sad for a few days, just staring at his grave, so that's why I'm pretty sure she grieved! :-(..
