Bulldogs World

We welcomed this guy into our home a month ago tomorrow.  His name is Kingston and he came to us from a friend of a friend situation after his first family couldn't care for him anymore.  He had a pretty bad case of dermodex on his hind end, but it is clearing up nicely with meds and twice a week bathings.  Since he came to us as a "teen" (he is almost 17mos old), we are slowly learning his temperment while working on creating good habits.  He is our first bulldog and the second dog to our family after the border collie my husband and I got as almost newlyweds passed a couple years ago.  We are fish out of water with this whole training thing, and the resources here have been a great help already.  I have quite a few books on my TBR list as well.  

This pic was from his first week here and we hadnt trimmed his nails yet.  I'd love to retake it, alas that particular rug has be an outdoors substitute for him on a couple rainy days when he found it more desirable to potty inside and is now banished to the garage under a good soaking of natures miracle.
