I dont want this post to be somber but it will most likely be.

I know this is a long shot and the subject line is odd, but I am looking a woman who use to raise bulldogs from Columbus, Nebraska. I picked up two of her dogs 1 about 12 years ago and another about 10 years ago. I want to let her know that her dogs lived long healthy lives but I just lost my male Clyde, who was my best friend in the whole world about a month ago. I just wanted to say thank you for letting me be apart of her bulldog family. Clyde came from a litter where the stud was named Caesar and not sure who the female was.

If she is still on here. I am the guy who was going to Vet School when I picked up a female bulldog and named her Dasiy. Unfortantly I lost her two years ago to a brain aneurysm.

I lost her contact information a long time ago and she may not be on here anymore at all but I thought this was worth a shot. I just want to tell her thank you.

On a brighter note:

I also have another bulldog name Herbie that was a rescue from the local human society and I judge he is only about a year old and already a goof ball that has no worries in the world.

This site was hoppin back then. I was here and couldn't get through this day without checking with all my bully friends. There are still some old members

Greetings! This site was really hoppin back then! I was here, and faithfully checked the board daily. The advice I received to help me with my out of control puppy (Kofi) was always the best!

We've slowed down immeasurably withg Facebook, etc, but I think, in time, you may get a response from an old timer!

Aren't bullies the best ????

I want to say thank you to everyone who has responded. I will keep checking and maybe something will come up. I know I am lucky to have rescued another bully. I know I will always have a bulldog no matter what. Clyde was just a special dog he had been with me through some really bad times when I just got out of College. He was my rock. I am a little lost without him. I still come home from work and look for him just for a split second. Herbie now helps alot but there will still and always be a spot in my heart that can never be replaced. I am getting better and Herbie is just a happy happy dog. He wiggles his butt like crazy when I get home and then when I take him out to my in-law farm he just goes nuts off a leash but always keeping an I on me too. The first Three are of Clyde and Clover. The Last pick is happy crazy Herbie.

I think Buddy is related to her dogs and I know she used to live in Columbus, NE and now resides on OK. Was it Nikki Brooks? I know she had a bulldog named Julie who lived to at least 12 if I recall. I believe Julie was a great grandma to Buddy.

Just saw your post on the porch, glad you made it here! Thank you for responding, it was Nikki and Julie I was thinking of but couldn't for the life of me remember her name.

It sure is good to see the Buddy boy:-). I have missed you a lot, think about you often and wonder how things are going. Hope you nad Treadmill Guy and Buddy are all doing well:-) . I have been heavily hinting to my hubby that I would love a Bully pup for my upcoming birthday, I even went so far as to tell my little grand daughter to tell her grandpa that he should let me get one for my birthday:-). Hopefully I will be among the blessed Bully people again soon:-)

Yeah, I tell you what, I had a heck of a time getting back on here! I could not for the life of me remember my password and requested a new account but never heard back from bdw admin! Somehow, I found my password among the billions of passwords I had written down lol

We're all doing well here! Buddy is happy and healthy and already 6 1/2yrs old which I can't believe! I still think of him as "my new bulldog" lol

I was thinking maybe just a couple of years ago you got Buddy. Time...sheesh...

So glad that the connection was found for Nikki and Julie and luckybully17!! I knew SOMEONE would remember, but it wasn't happening in my brain, for sure!

Say, remember "Russels Muscles"?? That was one of so many hilarious fun times we all had here when it was the old gang! I miss those times, but we all move on and go forward. I miss my girl so much, but I think of all the happy, silly Sophia things, and I am comforted knowing she is always alive in my heart.
