Its quite common for their hips to pop. They were bred for the purpose of fighting bulls, which would involve biting into a bull and in short, much like a bull rider, tryng to stay on, before been shuck off and hitting the ground. A normal dogs hips would shatter, a bulldogs can disslocate. Thats why as they get older, their hips are a cause of concern.
Not sure. How old is your dog?
I'm sure someone will have an answer.
