Hey everybully,

Now that I'm home I've got a few pictures to help update you all on the happenings of our lives. The last time I posted Winston had suffered his second urethral prolapse, I rushed him to the vet and fortunately they were able to get it corrected without a second massive surgery. We've still had a few issues when he gets "excited" to see someone, but those instances are becoming fewer and fewer thankfully. But as he was recovering from that we had a foster bully in our house and Winston managed to tear his ACL-here's a picture of him post op, but still in the crate...he's healed nicely and does not seem to have any lingering effects (thank the lord).

Here he is at our house on Halloween getting excited to greet our first round of trick-or-treat'ers at our home:

And, exciting news, the dude and I got married...Winston was able to attend our reception with us. He was the honorary best man! :)

and here is his most recent "adventure" of locking the dude out of the car at the gas station, you can see Winston's little white forehead peaking out the top of the passenger side...hahahahaha:

I seriously think it was harder on me to see Winston in pain and being crated 24/7 those few weeks than it was on him. I could tell as he started to feel better (but still had the drain in) he wanted to do more and more and was frustrated we were keeping him crated or leashed...he still managed to pop a few stitches doing too much.

If you find a good vet I'm sure Hershey will make a full recovery. He will have a bit of "zombie leg" going on for a few weeks, and then after everything heals you'll still need to keep him quiet and calm while he regains mobility. That was the hardest part for us, once he felt better he wanted to do everything "normal" again...so keeping him quiet was a bit of a challenge.

You were a beautiful bride:-) And I love the last pic...of Winstons little head peeking above the dashboard in the passenger seat! Too funny!!! Sophia did that to me once, on a really hot summer day. Thank goodness my truck had been running with the air on, I would have broken every window on the truck to get her out otherwise! She just curled up in the drivers seat and slept the whole time! Goober!!!
