HELP!!!!! My Bulldog has become a spoiled brat!!

Ok, so lets get one thing straight from the beginning...
I'd do just about anything for my 6 year old male bully, Mason Dixon.
HOWEVER.....i wont give up sleeping with my Husband at night and that is where we are. Every night, Mason comes to my side of the bed between 2-5 am, whining for me to get up (wake up) and feed him.
I made the mistake of doing it a few times and now he is outta control!!
Hes been on a homeade diet for 2 years due to heavy allergies.
He gets 3 meals a day, 2 cups per meal. Consist of a mixture of rabbit, pumpkin, apples, mung beans, green beans, oatmeal, and bananas.
I need major advice. Hes been out of his crate now for 4 years.
(before my husband came along and said putting him in there at night was wrong.) now Mason is running the house at night AND ME!!

HELP!!!!!

Well, for starters, can you put him in another room overnight?

If you can, put him in another room with his toys. Then ignore I'm in the middle of the night. If you can't put him out of your bedroom, then either learn how to say a firm NO, and mean it, ignoring him otherwise, and teach him no more middle of the night meals.....or keep on what you are doing and drive yourself crazy!

Also, try feeding a late night meal and maybe he won't be as hungry overnight.

What are you doing when he wakes you up?

Do you get up and feed him? If so, why would he ever stop, dogs do what works for them.

I would suggest ignoring him or when he wakes to calmly take him by his collar and lead him out of the room and shut the door. This will teach him that bugging you will get him expelled, a response he is not going to like. Changing his behavior is going to take several nights.

You could also just keep him out of your room or crate him.

Good luck
