Hello from an old friend

Hi there, Im not really sure if anyone posts here anymore, but I feel drawn to come here.  Its where so many friendships began long ago, that I will always hold close to my heart.  Had i never stumbled upon Bulldogworld so many years ago, I would never have the honor of knowing and becoming so close with cherished friends.  I never would have adopted my Kimmie, now gone for almost 9 years.  Never had my beautiful Mavis, who also left us 3 years ago.

But today I am missing a dear friend who left us all FAR too soon.   We met here, and she was a source of joy and many, many laughs and beautiful pictures of her beloved Grover.   Julia, thanks for all the happiness you shared with so many here, thanks for being my friend, a friend to us all.  We will miss you terribly.  Your light will always shine in all the wonderful memories.

Love you,

Christie

(Im not even sure when I post this what my screen name will look like!  I was first Christie & Tille, then Christie, Tillie & Camilla.  Now I guess, I'm Christie & Spike <3 )

Hi Christie

Wow!  It has been a long time.  I remember you posting pictures of Camilla and Tillie back in the day.  I don't come to this site often, but something made me check in tonight. Don't know if you remember me, but I'm Mary and my sweet bully at the time was Chester. Social media took over and things were not the same here.  I often wonder about the people I became friends with and what everyone is doing now. I do remember Julia and Grover.  I can picture her posts with Grover on her boat proudly wearing his life vest.  I'm sorry to hear about Julia passing. Very sad. I hope you and your family are doing well.  After we lost Chester at 13, we had another bully named Tank. We lost him when he was four to a blood disease.  Now we have two rescues, Marcus and Addison. It was nice to see your post after all these years and thank you for posting about Julia. There's a few of us that post on the bulldog lovers porch and I will let them know.  I'm sure some of them will remember Julia and Grover. Take care

Hi Mary

Hi Mary!  I do remember you & Chester!   It's crazy how social

media took over, and things changed.  I remember coming to BDW often and happily looking through all the posts from so many.  Crazy how things change.  After Tillie and Camilla, we had our Mavis, who passed when she was 7 due to lymphoma.  We now have a rescue bully named Spike.   He will be with us for 3 years on the 19th ☹️❤️

it's great to hear from you!

Nice to hear from you

Christie, wasn't it fun back in the day on Bulldogs World?  We had lots of laughs.  A little sad how things turn out and we all pretty much lost touch. Check in every now and then.  I will definitely check this site more often, maybe there's more lurkers here than we know.  It sure would be great to reconnect.

Hi Christie,

Well, I've found you all on FB and hadn't looked here for a while. I was so saddened when I heard about Julia. She was such a sweet lady and I just loved Grover pics! I will miss her.

I'm so glad though that I have found you!! So many of our friends are still around, if you know where to look!
