Good Morning Everyone!!

Man .. it has been a LONG time since I've logged on to here, well over a year if I'm not mistaken. First off, I just want to thank each and every single one of you that helped me in the past. You essentially convinced me, well informed me, to take a step back and do some serious research and look in to a reputable breeder rather than just jumping the gun with my puppy fever. I now have the cutest bulldog ever (yup I said it) and she's been the best decision I've ever made in my entire life. I mean really she is my life now, that's my baby girl, she's so unbelievably spoiled. She's now 1 year 8 months old, I got here just at 8 weeks. I know I'll have to attach a bunch of pictures haha. In all seriousness though, thank you guys, you really were informative and beyond helpful. I hope that all is well with you and your bulldogs, I'm sure they're all getting ever more adorabull throughout this past year or so. I plan on browsing through the past few pages just to see the pics!

Miss Tiny has been absolutely fantastic, she's been relatively healthy (lime disease, a cold or 2, hurt her back knee once) but I've been very thankful, she's been great. I leave her in the house to just roam around and she's great - no accidents, no chewing of anything, nothing. She's so well trained. If you tell her "sit" "down" or "paw" she response instantly without hesitation. Get this, she even LOVES the water .. I take her swimming almost weekly now, paddle boarding, kayaking, she loves hikes. Who would've thought that a chubby little bulldog would be so active? Even though she's active, her by far favorite thing to do is sleep and cuddle. Of course she sleeps in the bed with me so she's usually posted up either on top of my pillows or on my head snoring the night away.

I did actually come here for a reason, for some advice. I'm looking in to getting Tiny Oprah Raymond (yes, I gave her a middle name) a little friend. I believe I'm either going to go with a French Bulldog or another English Bulldog. Basically, I was looking for everyone's opinions on regards to compatibility between the 2 breeds together and if I should be looking in to a Male, Female or if there's not a preference really. I've actually reached out to a few breeders already (and by a few I mean about 10) with interest but I haven't pursued anything yet to this point. Please feel free to be blatanly honest again, I really respect the knowledgeable posters that are on here, you guys are the best.

I just wanted to reiterate a big THANK YOU to all of you again, without you guys I most likely would've never gotten my little baby. I hope that all has been well for you and your pups throughout the past year or so.

I've got a ton more pictures I can share (literally thousands haha) but this is all I've saved on my work computer

She is lovely

I very pretty girl, nice head, wide in skull and jaw and very pretty dark eyes. Thank you for doing your research and finding a lovely representative of breed type and standard. Kudo's to you! Thank you for not supporting those fad money hungry BYB breeding rare colors and poor quality bulldogs.

I would recommend a life vest when paddle boarding. Just in case an accident happens!

As for a playmate. Highly recommend a male and Frenchies go great with Bulldogs. There are a number of breeders that have both breeds. I know a couple right now with Frenchie's litters.

I agree, she is very lovely!

What a beautiful little girl you have! She is gorgeous:-)

i also advise to always, always use a doggie life vest for her, at all times in the water. Our bullies do love the water, but can quickly get into trouble and drown before we can get to them. It has happened. So please get her a life vest and use it always while playing in water!

She is a beauty!

I woud suggest getting a male companion (neutered when he's old enough).  Sometimes two girls together is not a great idea.  I think my next bully will be a frenchie too.

she's so cute!

I had a four year old male bulldog that I wanted to get a buddy for, and expand my family! :) I went with another male bulldog and at first Otie just tried to tolerate him, but grew to love him and they were always laying next to each, often times touching paws. It was so sweet. The two boys got along fine ( I have no experience with girls, but someday want to have one). I lost Otie a couple of weeks ago, and I may try a Frenchie as well when the time comes to add to the family again. I loved having two bulldogs and loved their interaction. I was the best. You just can't go wrong, whatever you chose.

Get Another Bulldog!

First what a sweet girl you have!!!

We have 2.5 year old Bulldog named GEORGIA which we love to death!  Three weeks ago we decided to get a male who is now 13 weeks.   The reason we got our new guy HANK is our 3.5 year old Maltese was killed by coyotes and GEORGIA was very depressed.  The picture below says a thousand words on how she felt.  I cant even begin to tell you how sad this was.  At first we were a little hesitant to get another Bulldog and especially a male but so far I have to say it was a great decision.  The first week took some adjusting but now they seem to be new best friends and living together very well.  There were some serious growling in the beginning but nothing serious and seemd to stop over a short time. They can play a little hard at times but thats what Bullies do but its a joy to watch them play.  So for what it is worth, I really suggest another Bulldog.  The hardest part is sharing the love between the two!!!!!!!!

Bullie or Frenchie

I know 2 people who had a Bullie and raied Frenchies. For the most part they did NOT get along. Frenchies have a much different temperament and are much smaller in size. with one of these people an accident occured (well, not an accident--an attack) and the Bullie kiklled the Frenchie. The Bullie was not aggressive and was not the aggressor but the Frenchie ended up dieing. IMO it was the owner's fault as she knew the dogs did not get along but felt the Frenchie could not hurt the Bullie bcause it was so small in comparison and that the Bullie, being a seetheart, would not hurt the Frenchie. Does not mean 2 Bullies will be best pals--you still need to be very observant and careful--but most people seem not to have problems having 2 (or more) Bullies.

She's adorable!

I have two girls and they squabble from time to time, I'd also recommend a male.
