Flooding in Alberta
Submitted by carol on June 23, 2013 - 10:54pmI am sure many of you are aware of the devastation caused by flooding of the Bow River in Calgary and other parts of Alberta. I have not heard of animals other than horses and cattle which are drowning as a result of the floods but we can rest assured that people are needing food, litter, etc for the pets of home owners who have been totally displaced and may be for some time. I would therefore like to encourage you to send a donation to the SPCA in Calgary or surrounding areas. They can all be found online for addresses. High River is another area which has been severely affected. Thanks.

Wishing all of our northern neighbors safety...
And hoping all the critters get out of harms way somehow. Terribly sad about the horses and cows...I own both, and would hate if something like this happened to them.
