What is the meanest thing you've done to somebody? Someone did something nasty to me so I had him sent boxes of lime Jell-O, with no note, from all over the world, for about a year.
What book has had the most impact on your life? A children’s book called ‘Nipper the Little Bullpup.’ which got me wanting bulldogs.

The best restaurant you've ever been to? There was one at the Bay Rock Hotel in Jamaica I remember. You dressed in formal ware, had about eight pieces of silverware, the food was wonderful (a wonderful cream of mushroom soup) and each table had their own waiter. It was out on a patio. This was many years ago and I am sure it does not exist anymore.
What are you thankful you're NOT doing right now? Cleaning the toilet.
Who is the most famous person you've ever met? Mick Jagger and Justice William O. Douglas
Your biggest frustration with government (On any level, Stephie)? That the local park will fine $125 you if you let your dog run free there. (We tried to get it made into a dog park.)

I TOTALLY relate to your answer about correcting peoples' grammar and puncuation.....I also have to force
myself NOT to correct spelling, too! Arrghh, one of my pet peeves!!! I go INSANE when people
write "YOUR" instead of "YOU'RE".......also----"THEIR" instead of "THEY'RE", etc. etc. etc....

I have a dear, dear friend who tries to expand her vocabulary, but makes lots of mistakes. As
her friend, I've GENTLY corrected her---not to be superior or rude, honestly---just to correct
her so she'll know---just as I would NOT be offended if someone nicely corrected me! Unfortunately;
she does NOT appreciate corrections, so I don't mention it anymore! LOL! :-) ..

And, this is not just me---but my ENTIRE family and many of my close friend's have a THING about
uneccessary apostrophe's annnnd, uneccessary "quotation mark's." There is even a "website" about
"quotation mark's" that is very humorous to us! :-) With that said, I hope you and youre's

Mic Jagger
I was working retail and Jagger walked into the store. This being Minneapolis where people are very polite, no one bothered him. It was the Sharper Image back in the early 1990s. He bought about six gifts for friends and paid for it with a credit card with his name 'Michael' on it. He was soft-spoken, very polite and shorter than I had imagines (which is OK since I am short.)

~As kids, we used clothes we hated, stuffed with toilet paper, lifted one of my Mom's wigs & styrofoam wig heads to attach to the "body", beat up my best friends' brother's old bicycle with a sledge hammer & poured ketchup all around - then we sat in the hedges in front of my house awaiting someone to drive by. Unfortunately, the 80yr old little lady across the street thought she hit a kid & had to be taken the ER after calling the police/ambulances. Lord have mercy did we get out butts tanned over that escapade. LOL

Interesting that you mentioned "Salt Grass".....We have been to the one in San Antonio twice, several
years ago with hubby's family.
He and I joked that we didn't understand WHY his family thought it was SO great----LOL----it wasn't anything
extraordinary to us back then. HOWEVERrrrrrrr; fast forward several years, when we recently got several in our city, and have gone
several times and been VERY impressed!!! Even their appetizers are extra yummy! I would NEVER think to add
pico de gallo to brisket; (plus, whatever yummy ingredients they add to this appetizer); but it is scrumptious!!!
We recently took my Dad a month ago when he was visiting, and I
had the BEST ----I mean----**BEST !!!!!-------perfect ribeye I've ever had in my life! My Dad and hubbs were also
very impressed, but I went GAGA over my steak and can't wait to go back!

I meant Rose Marie, not Betty White....
I always confuse that...
When I was a little girl a show called "4 Girls 4" came to our town. My mom had a ladies clothing store and the 4 Girls stopped in and did some shopping, and gave my mom tickets to their show. I got to go with her, and we went backstage and met the ladies. One was Rose Marie, the others were Rosemary Clooney, Helen O'Connell, and Kaye Ballard. I met them all, but Rose Marie was very kind to me and I remember her the most.
As a teenager we lived in a small ski town that is world famous. Lots of very famous people came there to ski, like Barbara Streisand, Clint Eastwood, Jill Clayburgh, etc. I met Miss Clayburgh, she was short tempered and annoyed. I don't mention her much! But BB King came and played at a resort we had a condo at, and I got to watch his shows from the stairs (I was underage and they served alcohol, and the management wouldn't let me into the actual room). Mr. King was a very kind man and always acknowledged the "stair keepers" when he thanked everyone for coming to the show:-) I had a friend who went every night with me to listen to his fantastic music, I just loved it! He passed away in 2015.
I also met Richie Havens in that town, he was there for a festival. He was a really nice guy too, but a little funky. Ray Charles also played at the resort and I met him there.
I totally forgot that I met Dan Fogelberg also. I worked at the spa in the resort and he came in each night after his show and sat in the hot tub. He was really a nice guy, very modest and humble.
When you live in a fancy resort town, you meet lots of famous people:-) I hated that place, so much bad stuff in those types of environment.

Where do you live now? I thought you were in like...a Carolina or something?! So are you there or are you somewhere else?!!
We know you are a brat. Number one was obvious. But being yourself was fun, not annoying! We had a blast with you being yourself!
Oh smoke, do you remember the dog in the show who was having so much fun with his handler?! The guys wife had to come out and take over the handling because the pup was just all over the place being silly and cute for his daddy! Even that famous judge commented to hi on it, remember? She said to him something about being humbled by his dogs behavior, or something along those lines! That was one of the all time funniest things I have seen in person...sooo cute:-)

Well...
I moved back to my northern roots a few years ago and moved to New York last October. I may be making a move back down south in a few years, though. For some reason, I have it in my head that I must live in the Asheville area! I have no idea where this idea came from (since I first visited Asheville in 2013 for the first time), but I'm convinced that Asheville was where I was meant to be. Go figure.
That dog show was hysterical! That bullie was having so much fun being a goof. The judge said to him "You know, it's only going to keep getting worse, don't you?" The poor man was so red. And we were so enthusiastic! Cath was showing Stevie Ray that day, wasn't she? He was such a beautiful boy.

I had a bulldog get together a while back...
And Rotti was one of the folks that attended. We had a blast, it was over a weekend. The first day we had a bully meetup with our pups, that was so cool. The next day was the show, and lots of lovely bullies were there to love on and watch with awe as they strutted their stuff:-) It was a lot of fun, and I was so glad to have met Rotti and the others who came. Jacinda was there, as was Cathy, so was Deborah and the NC Gang. Boy, I sure miss them all....
