Submitted by amandalee27 on December 16, 2013 - 10:07pmJust checking in. It's been 3 weeks since we said goodbye to our Rebel. I love seeing all the cute pics of the bullies and I come here for my fix. Our basset, Dixie, is adjusting to losing her brother pretty well. Unfortunately, the day after he passed, we found out she had bladder stones and she had surgery the next week. She was always so independent, but now she is a snuggle bug. My husband and I are doing well also; but we both miss our friend. I think it will be a while before we get another dog, but until then I'll keep coming back for my bully fix! Merry Christmas!
