Buster update

Buster continued to get worse after his brain tumor diagnosis.  We thought that there was no hope and decided to try prednisone in hopes that it would shrink the tumor.  Within 24 hours he started to actually improve!  He still has balance issues and I dont think he can see very well, but otherwise his personality is back and he is eating and playing again!

The prednisone has caused some side effects (alot of drinking and urinating, increased appetite).  Small price to pay to have my baby back!

I am going to take him to another neurologist for a second opinion tomorrow.  Hopefully, the prednisone will continue to help him.  I dont know how long it will work, but I feel so fortunate to have a second chance and a little more time with him.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words and support.  It really means a lot to know that there are people out there who care and who love their bullies as much as I do!

Great news that he's feeling better...

Frankie was on pred for about...

a year and a half. She was on a low dose, 1/4 tab a day. She did fine on it and I didn't notice any significant difference in her behaviors. Goodluck to Buster...we had a Frenchie named Buster...I know he will do great!
