My puppy has started developing these pigmented spots (photo below) all over his belly! Initially, I noticed it was concentrated in the area where he tends to sit on his urine, but when I took him to the beach this past weekend, his entire belly has become littered with them! Moreover, the area on his inner legs and arms have become discoloured!
Is this unhealthy and an indication of something bigger? Also, can it be reversed?
Please help!
Looks very normal to me.
As anything ages, variations of coat and skin can develop. Looks normal to me.
One big caution...the beach is a bad place in the summer for a bulldog, it is very difficult for them to stay cool because of their smooshed nose. Please, keep your pup in a cool environment in the hot summer months or you will have more than spots to worry about.

I think it comes with Age
Mine got them as they turn older.

Bulldog birth marks...
OK, so they aren't born with them but these develop on the tummy of bulldogs as the get towrd adult. They are NOT a health problem or (if you plant to shoe your dog) a beauty problem. Many bulldog s have these belly spots. They are a part of the breed. If you are a new bulldog person, it's normal for you to panic over things that someday, you'll realise is a minor problem (or no problem at all.) When we got out first we found little lumps and rushed her to the vet. Mosquioto bites. Bulldogs have a special something that make s you want to keep them safer and makes you panic over any little thing. Don't worry about about these spots. Just rub that cute little belly. These are beauty marks, nothing more.
Keep posting and let us know how you and your bulldog are doing.
