Heyyy everybuullyyyy!!!  Hope you had a wonderful July 4th / Canada Day / enjoying your summer!!!   

Our rescue's been overwhelmed with new babies and not enough foster homes, so we have this precious little guy Murphy now...and sweet Foster Daphne is also still with us........Murphy was a stray (???) our rescue peeps say "owner dump"....they think he was used wayyy too much for breeeding, he's ten, blind from years of neglect of dry-eye, and heartworm positive---GOOD news---the heartworm count is low, and he'll be treated soon.  He does have a cough that sounds like he's smoked a couple packs of ciggies per day for many years, but he doesn't cough that often.....but when he does, it sounds a bit scary.  ,,,,,

...He is a HAPPY little fella, loves to snuggle, gets lotsa tummy rubshhhh, and he has an actual TAIL which we're not used to seeing, so it cracks us UP!!!  :-)  LOVE seeing it wag when he's happy!!!  Isn't he the cutest??

Meaty's expression cracks me up in this one.....they are very cute together....and he and Sophie are getting along better...(he's only been

with us 2 weeks)

And some of you have already met our foster sweetie Daphne.....she's doing well after endotroprion surgery and spay...She did

have some bleeding issues after spay and had to stay at the vet's for 5 nights....we missed her SOO much!!!!   She unfortunately

now needs ACL surgery---she can barely walk----she's on crate rest and is NOT liking not being able to chase squirrels and run

around the yard looking for the perrrrrfect place to poo  ....
