Vaginal discharge and rash

I noticed a brownish dried discharge on my dogs vaginal area today. When I went to clean it off, I also noticed that it is pretty red and raw looking around the area too...almost like a rash or if she rubbed it on something. Any ideas of what it could be? She is acting normal but did not like when I touched the area so may be a little tender. Thanks!

Riley is spayed and has had
Riley is spayed and has had several bouts of vaginitis. A simple prescription can clear it up. With Riley I noticed her vulva was bright pink and there was a discharge.
It's always best to go get it checked out at the vet. Poor baby!
