Pet insurance

I would like to get him pet insurance to make sure he can always get any care he might need without going bankrupt. I am a bit out of the loop when it comes to cost of vet care, even basic stuff like vaccinations and neutering. I am considering the Embrace package with a puppy Wellness plan. Does anyone have any experience with this plan or others that might help me choose? Thank you fur parents!
I have heard good things about Embrace. Make sure you check
turnaround time for payment. We have Trupanion, very fast with payment. We also have Nationwide, very slow with payment. Whoever you decide to go with get your bully enrolled as soon as possible. Less chances of having prexisting conditions.

That is great advice about the pre existing conditions. Thank you. Seems like I'll be locked in to that plan for life with this pre existing conditions stuff; I better choose wisely. I'll look at the ones you mentioned. Do you have two policies for the same dog?
I have a Bulldog and mutt with Trupanion. Trupanion is good
but there claims are per incident. You have to meet the deductible for that specific incident before they pay. The bulldog has dry eye and he needs drops for life. His deductible is $750. I haven't met that yet, but once I do his drops will be covered for life. The mutt, her deductible is $1000. She recently ripped her dew claw off and none of that was covered because I did not meet the deductible. The rescue bulldog had many issues when we got her. Her insurance is with Nationwide(formerly VPI). We get a little discount through my husbands work that is why she has Nationwide. The deductible is $250.00, but she has pre-existing conditions with her eyes and her bladder. Once she meets the $250 deductible everything will be covered except her pre-existing issues. When you are comparing plans just make sure you know if it is per incident or annual total deductible.

We have Embrace and so far everything is great. Their payments are on time and I think I will stick them for a long time.
